DATA PRIVACY STATEMENT

This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data by Quendra sprl/bvba.

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. The data concerned include the names and contact details of representatives of a customer (an existing or prospective customer in the form of a company or government organization), as well as other information such as IP addresses, which links a website user has clicked on and the length of time a user spent on a particular page of the website.

The processing of personal data is governed by special statutory provisions. Where we process the personal data of users or customers, we comply with all applicable legislation and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (hereafter: ‘GDPR’).

In accordance with the obligations imposed by the GDPR, we take steps to maintain an adequate level of security in the processing of personal data which is sufficient by current standards to prevent any unauthorised access to or modification, disclosure or loss of personal data.

DATA CONTROLLER AND DATA PROCESSOR

Quendra processes personal data for different purposes and in doing so performs different roles. These roles are mentioned in the GDPR: controller and processor.

As data controller, Quendra processes the (standard) personal data of the customer, to the extent necessary for the execution of the agreement, in order to comply with its legal obligations and, insofar as necessary to serve its legitimate interests.

‘Controller’ means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law;

PERSONAL DATA ACCESSED BY QUENDRA

For Quendra to provide a contract for its customers and provide them with the services they need, it is necessary for Quendra to process personal data which relates to their individual personnel. This personal data relates only to basic “Contact Information”. Quendra obtains such personal data from its customers, and uses it for the purposes of entering into contracts with them, meeting the Telecom service obligations, maintaining customer relations and related purposes.

SHARING AND PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA

Quendra works with different Third Parties with which we will provide the personal data of users or customers in order to provide and/or maintain the ordered service.

To assist in the performance of our work and marketing activities we can engage third parties who provide services on Quendra’s behalf. These parties will be bound by privacy terms which are included in a processing agreement.

STORAGE

We retain these personal data in principle only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes referred to above and in order to comply with statutory and tax data retention obligations.

When you visit our Website, subject to your prior consent where applicable by law, we may collect personal data without you actively submitting such information, by automated means, using technologies such as cookies, web server logs, web beacons, and similar technologies as described below.

The types of personal data that we may collect through your visits to our Website include, to the extent permitted under applicable law and, where required, subject to your express consent, are:
